Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Midgard X collects, why, and how we protect it. It applies to midgardx.ca and to every site and app we run, including SHIFT, MirrorsSphere, Picklezinglet and okhl.ca.
Who we are. Midgard X, 4841 Parkridge Drive, Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Privacy questions: info@midgardx.ca. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email, and business name when you request a quote, sign up or contact us.
- Account details: sign-in email, display name, and settings for apps that need an account.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Project files you upload, such as drawings, plans, schedules and photos.
- Basic usage data: pages visited, device type and approximate location (city level), used to keep sites working and secure.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for, send quotes and invoices, and support your account.
- To keep our sites secure and fix problems.
- To send you updates about your account or project. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and every message has an unsubscribe link, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share only what is needed with service providers that run our systems: Stripe (payments), Netlify (website hosting), Supabase (databases), Google Workspace (email) and Anthropic (AI features). Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including the United States, where it may be subject to local law.
AI features
Some tools use AI to answer questions or analyze files. Information you enter into those features is sent to our AI provider to produce the answer. Don't enter information you don't want processed this way.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is active or as needed for the project, then up to 7 years for tax and business records. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@midgardx.ca. We reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Children
Our business services are for adults. Our games do not ask for personal information from players.

We'll post updates here and change the date at the top.
